Lions, tigars and bears - oh my!

Its been such a long time since I have written in my LJ! I do appologise to you all!

My life has become so very busy its unbelievable. I am looking for a new job (and working my old one), starting my own usability and web design company, dating and doing some projects for friends. Between all that there is very little time for catching up with people!

I have gotten back in touch with an old friend of mine called Abigail whom I know from secondary school. She is still working in the comic shop in Manchester and is still with her beau of, wow, 11 years - and considering she is 24, thats a long time! I forgot to bring her phone number home with me this evening so I could give her a ring, but I'll do that tomorrow!

I am going out on the weekends much more now - in fact every weekend I am out at least twice which is great. I am overhauling my wardrobe too - I started doing it over the summer but as most of you know I have lost weight since then again so I am in need of another new wardrobe - gah - as long as I don't get to a 6 now that I am buying 8's I think I'll be fine.

Oh and tip number one: Eating out is bad for your diet!

I am reading some self help books (don't roll your eyes at me y'all!) at the moment. I used to think they were all a load of crap, but they are actually turning out to be really useful. I would recommend The Mind Gym to anyone!

And don't forget that if your ever in need of a website and are willing to pay for a professional job, you know where to come!

Oh and that reminds me - I applied for a job today and they asked me if I wanted to go for an interview. I said yeah, go on then. I am not going to put all my eggs in one basket but I am going to research them and some other things like crazy over the next few days so that when it comes to the interview I shall know more about them than they do. People seems to like that - it shows your resourceful and eagar. Although I don't want to come across as desperate either, even though the company is cool. I am going to continue applying for jobs all over the place and keep my options open.

My rent contract comes up for renewal at the end of this month - yikes - 6 months here already, but if I get a job in London I will need to move, so I may have to go down there and ask for a 3 month contract. Whatever eh?
